About Us
Ramon Massey Senior was born in 1941. He had three Massey brothers and six Massey sisters. Like many of the Masseys, Ramon was a butcher by trade until he began working in various roles in the funeral profession. He soon became passionate about the need to offer a professional, dignified, and compassionate service to families in their time of greatest need and knew that his calling was to the funeral industry.
Ramon Massey & Son Funeral Directors was soon established, and its first funeral home opened in Tallaght Village. It was apparent from early on that the people of Dublin valued and respected the unique level of funeral care and professionalism that only a member of the Massey family could provide, and Ramon Massey & Son, which remains family-owned, decided to expand the business, opening additional Massey's Funeral Homes and offices in Walkinstown and Crumlin Cross in Dublin and in Celbridge in Kildare.
We are very proud and feel honoured by the loyalty and support shown to us by the communities and families we serve. Without it, we would not be able to offer the highest standards of facilities and service. In essence, our communities have supported us to support them.
Today, Ramon Massey and Son Funeral Direct operate six Funeral Homes and offices across Dublin and Kildare, based in Crumlin, Walkinstown, Drimnagh, Tallaght, Celbri, edge and Straffan. We cater to the needs of families all over Dublin, Kildare and beyond.
During your time of grief, we offer a complete funeral service. As a family-run business, we pride ourselves on providing professional and personal service, and all of the families we care for are known to us by first name. As funeral directors, we assure all families of a professional level of service by insisting on "Integrity and Compassion in Funeral Care" at all times.
